Data and purposes
We process account name, email address, hashed password, language preference, team membership and permissions to manage accounts and access. For gameplay, we store player names, darts nights, matches, throws, scores and statistics. Data comes from you, your team administrator, teammates or the connected score source. For billing, we store the chosen plan, payment status, period and Mollie customer, subscription and payment references. Our app does not store full bank or card details.
For support we process your message, contact details and internal follow-up. A cancellation reason or comment is optional. Sessions, IP address, browser details, connection times and administrative actions may be recorded for security and troubleshooting. We do not use automated decision-making with legal effects or advertising profiling.
Legal bases
Account management, gameplay and payments are necessary to perform the contract. For invited players without their own contract, support and security, we rely on the legitimate interest in providing a secure team service and handling requests, balanced against your privacy. Financial records are retained to comply with legal obligations. Required account and payment data is necessary to provide the service; without it we cannot activate a paid account.
Who can access data
Players and scores are visible to authorised team members and paired TV displays. The team administrator manages access. Only club name and city appear in the public directory; joining a club does not give its owner access to team players or scores. Authorised staff can view account and operational data for support and administration according to their role. Hosting and email providers process data to run the service. Mollie and payment parties process payment data for settlement, fraud checks and legal obligations under their own privacy policies as well. We do not sell personal data.
If a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, a valid transfer basis is required, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with appropriate additional safeguards. You can request information about the recipients, countries and safeguards through our contact address.
Retention and deletion
Account and game data is retained while your account exists and the data is needed for team history and service provision. Cancellation stops payment but does not automatically delete that history. You can request deletion; we also assess other team members’ data and statutory retention duties. Basic financial records are kept for 7 years where Dutch tax law requires this. Support and security data is retained as necessary to handle the request, protect the service or address a specific dispute. Retention depends on that purpose; storage capacity alone does not justify indefinite retention. Backup deletion follows the relevant backup retention cycle; if a backup is restored, previous deletions must be reapplied.
Cookies, extension and TV
The website uses functional cookies for login, session security and language choice. The language preference lasts up to one year; the TV cookie up to 30 days. Sessions expire after 120 minutes of inactivity. The website uses no advertising or analytics trackers. For the mobile app, also see the explanation below. You can delete cookies through your browser; doing so may log you out or remove your TV pairing.
The browser extension reads score messages from the paired Autodarts tab and sends them with a match token to YourDartClub. You can disconnect it and revoke the token. A paired TV receives player names and scores with viewing rights only. The team administrator can revoke screen access; this does not delete team history.
Your privacy rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@yourdartclub.com. We normally respond within one month. For complex requests, the statutory deadline may be extended; we notify you within that first month. We may verify your identity proportionately. You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local data protection authority.
The iPhone and iPad app
Local games, visits, favourites and preferences are stored on your device. Login and device secrets are kept in secure key storage. On login, the platform uses a random device identifier and a device secret for security and synchronisation. The server stores the device secret as a hash. Official team matches are stored on the platform; uploading a local game is a separate action. Logging out does not erase local games. Deleting a local copy does not automatically delete an uploaded copy or team history.
For Apple subscriptions we process product and transaction identifiers, a random team-binding token, subscription period, validity and any revocation or refund. Apple processes payment under its own privacy policy. This integration does not provide us with your Apple password or full card details.
When casting, the selected display receives player names, scores and board data. AirPlay uses the local connection; the phone supplies the scoreboard stream while the app remains active. TV-code pairing delivers the display through the platform. The app includes a Google Cast SDK whose privacy manifest declares device identifiers, product interactions and diagnostics for functionality and analytics. This is not advertising tracking. Chromecast is usable only after receiver configuration. You can stop casting and revoke TV pairing.
In the app, Account lets you request deletion of your personal account and associated personal data, with password verification and in-app confirmation. We process requests manually, normally within one month, and confirm completion by email. A shared team login is not a personal account; its access is managed by the team owner. We assess deletion or anonymisation in light of other members’ data and legal retention duties. Only legally necessary data is retained afterwards. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription: manage it separately with Apple. Local games on other devices are not remotely erased.
