What the TV app uses
The app receives the team name, darts night name, player names and scores for the screen you connect using your phone. The TV has read-only access and cannot change scores, payments or accounts.
Connection and storage
To connect, the app creates a random screen code and a protected cookie. A code is valid for 10 minutes. A connected screen has access for up to 30 days. On the server we store a hash of the screen key, the selected team and darts night, screen settings and the last connection time.
The TV app does not store a separate score history. Existing team data remains part of your YourDartClub account. Expired screen connections are removed during the next cleanup.
Connection and service providers
The production app communicates with www.yourdartclub.com over HTTPS. Our hosting processes these requests and may record technical connection data, such as IP address and browser information, in server logs. The app contains no advertising SDK or analytics tracker. QR codes are generated on the device, without an external QR service.
Revoke access
Choose Disconnect this screen in the TV app or Disconnect under Connect TV on your phone. This stops viewing access; your team scores are not deleted. For access, correction or deletion of account and team data, contact info@yourdartclub.com.
